"A collective name for the eight cosy and picturesque villages."
The Eight Beatitudes: a collective name for the eight cosy and picturesque villages in the Dutch Kempen region. One of these villages is Eersel, but Duizel, Hulsel, Knegsel, Netersel, Reusel, Steensel and Winterle are also part of this historic designation. Not for nothing do these villages (almost) all end in "-sel". But what makes these villages the Eight Beatitudes? And what unique activities are worth visiting?
