At least once a year, the special Loret organ from 1868 in the Lambertuskerk is put in the spotlight. On Thursday 4 June, concert organist Aart Bergwerff will travel to Vessem for a programme composed of toccatas and tangos. Bergwerff is a much sought-after organist who regularly performs with large orchestras, can be found at festivals but also likes to seek out not-so-ordinary collaborations. On 4 June, he will play works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Domenico Zipoli, Padre Davide da Bergamo, Theodore Dubois and, of course, Astor Piazzolla.
