Our enthusiastic guide will take you back in time with stories about the Eight Salvations, the Teuten and the rich cigar industry. You will discover the secrets of the small Protestant church from 1812 and the centuries-old Mariakapel from 1464, and learn the meaning behind the colourful stained-glass windows.

Discover the gripping stories of World War II in this charming village. Our storyteller will take you around ten striking spots in the centre, each with a unique war story from the 1940s-45s. Be touched by the fortunes of the Hoeks brothers and Ilse Brüll, and get a picture of hiding, forced labour, collaboration and the silent and great resistance.
Prefer to go at your own pace? Then experience the route yourself with our self-guided audio tour. Pearls of Eersel - A journey through the past
Join us on a journey of discovery along 15 magnificent bronze pearls, each revealing a unique story from Eersel's rich history. During this special tour, our guide will take you past striking monuments, from periods of wealth and poverty to the adventurous trade and journeys to faraway places like Denmark. You will hear about the care and love in both wartime and peacetime. Each pearl forms a special link between the past and the present, bringing Eersel's history to life in surprising ways.

Booking conditions:
- Reservations are required and can be made up to 3 working days before the desired date.
- Tours can be booked any day of the week, times are negotiable.
- After booking, you will receive a confirmation (and an invoice if desired).
- Fees must be paid up to 3 working days before the tour.
Payment can be made in cash, by pin at the Visit Eersel shop or by bank transfer.
Cancellation conditions:
- Up to a maximum of 1 week before the date, you can cancel free of charge.
- If you cancel between 1 week and 1 day before the date, we will charge 20% of the total amount.
- When cancelling within 24 hours before the tour, we charge 50% of the total booking amount.
