Sint Joseph

This statue of St Joseph was a gift from people in hiding to Mother Superior Reinildis of St Jacobus Monastery. This is where hiders and pilots found a safe hiding place. From 1939, the nuns also offered temporary shelter to 50 Jewish children, some of whom did not survive Auschwitz.
