Located on the Belgian border, near the de Achelse Kluis Abbey, this is the starting point for a beautiful walking or cycling tour through the Leenderbos or Natuurgrenspark De Groote Heide. You can enjoy views and silence here. The variation in this small-scale Brabant landscape contributes to a sense of freedom. You can smell the many different coniferous trees and observe special animal species, such as the nightjar, moor frog, viviparous lizard, woodcock, tawny owl and black woodpecker.

Brasserie de Herberg is located in the converted former stables and overlooks the brewing kettles of the brewery. The inn offers a selection of drinks, various pastries, homemade Trappist ice cream (without alcohol), small dishes (including abbey soup) and not to forget: Achel Trappist, the beer brewed by the Trappists themselves.
