Monument De Muystermolen
Long ago, there was a water mill on the Kleine Beerze: the Muystermolen was its name. The mill was located roughly at this spot, about one and a half kilometres southeast of Middelbeers. The mill was probably built in the period around 1326 and was owned by Tongerlo Abbey. In 1559, the Diocese of 's-Hertogenbosch became the owner of the mill. In 1884, the mill was demolished. But the Muystermolen is not completely gone; a modern work of art in the landscape recalls it.
