De Kempen - In 't Wilde Zwijn

Wonderful extended walking tour around nature reserve De Kempen. You start the route in the woods and fields in the eastern part of the area, past the campsites and restaurants of Klein Witrijt. Here you walk along the forest edges and fields, all the way to the southern edge of the area. Halfway along the walking route, you will reach the Belgian border, where there are some forest restaurants for a break. The route continues deeper through the forests. You finish the trail with a few beautiful kilometres right across and around the Cartierheide, the heathland in the middle of the nature reserve.
