The Green Ribbon winds through the landscape, following a route along three watercourses, Gender, Run and Dommel. In doing so, the hedge explores the space and finds a way from tree to tree within it.
Het Groene Lint stimulates the experiences of nature lovers and recreational users and links up with current developments in nature and green space management by promoting biodiversity, revaluing old crafts and involving local residents in their (living) environment. The Green Ribbon also connects rural and urban areas. Besides the wicker hedges, solitary works of art will be on display at various places along the route. At the nursery, continue walking to the left of the Gender. Here you walk along the tall spruce trees. Follow the braid hedges, choose the right path at the fork and turn right at Kerkdijkje. Here on your left is the Huttenbos, a natural play forest. After about 70 metres turn left, you are now walking on the right side of the Gender again.
