A new chapter in Brabant's winter fun
Eersel has a new winter tradition! This year, the doors of Winter Village Eersel opened for the first time, an atmospheric winter experience right in the heart of Brabant. With an indoor ice rink, cosy restaurants and plenty of activities, there was plenty to do for young and old alike. Let's dive into what this special location had to offer this year.
Conviviality at its best
Winter Village Eersel was more than just an ice rink. It was a place where you could enjoy the cosiness of the holidays, get together with friends and family, and, of course, enjoy skating. The indoor ice rink offered the opportunity to skate in an atmospheric ambiance. Next to the ice rink, there was an atmospheric après-ski bar where you could enjoy a snack and a drink. But the full programme was also a feast for young and old alike. From the well-attended bingo night to dancing and singing along with various bands, it was a party day and night! Finally, the various skating classes were not to be missed during the days that Winter Village Eersel was open.
Ice cream fun for everyone
Whether you were an experienced skater or just taking your first steps on the ice, there was a place for everyone. And did you know that at Winter Village Eersel skating was possible for (almost) everyone? With the IceWisp, a (sort of) special tricycle with chest support, people with physical disabilities could also enjoy the pleasure of the ice. With the regular entrance fee and rental price of an IceWisp, everyone was equal.
Successful first edition
The first edition of Winter Village Eersel was a great success. Visitors were enthusiastic about the atmosphere, facilities and activities. Countless positive reactions could be found on Winter Village Eersel's social media channels.
