All the beauty from Eersel. - Cultural history is literally on the street in Eersel!

The pavements and streets of Eersel feature bronze pearls. The pearls refer to striking buildings or objects with a history. There are several museums, galleries, sculpture gardens and other places of interest to visit. There are also changing exhibitions in public buildings such as De Muzenval and the Town Hall, as well as a biannual LandArt route in the municipality of Eersel. Kempenmuseum

One of the most beautiful museums in the Brabant Kempen region is the Kempenmuseum. This museum offers an overview of life in the Brabant Kempen in the period 1850-1950. There is a nature garden and you can play old Dutch games.

For example, you can follow Art Route the Green Ribbon and be surprised by works of art in nature. Or make a stop at Beeld en Tuin in Duizel for a unique combination of art and greenery. But Eersel is also the right place for a moment of rest and reflection, as a visit to De Contente Mens is a must.

  • Art Route Het Groene Lint

    Art Route The Green Ribbon is a land-art artwork that connects the centre of Eersel with the centre of Eindhoven via a 24-km long art trail. A green ribbon of natural elements in the form of braided hedges, providing a guide along which the walker follows his walk. The design of this art walking path was created by Amsterdam-based artist Annet Bult.

  • Statues in Eersel

    'Anyone who walks through the modest gate next to the front door with us will be completely surprised by what lies beyond,' Wim Huijbregts and Marja van Riel describe. Since 1995, the garden created by Wim and the sculptures by Marja have together formed'Beeld en Tuin Duizel'. They cordially invite you to their green oasis of peace and quiet.

  • The Contente Mens

    This famous, bronze statue of 'the contente mens' stands in Eersel. The 'convivial Brabander' may not have had much, but was content with what he did have. It was made by Richard Bertels in 1957, as a symbol of the convivial national character of Brabanders in general, and the inhabitants of the Kempen region in particular.
