Blob jumping, stand-up paddleboarding, pedalos, swimming & inner-tube rafting: at TerSpegelt in Eersel, swimming is an experience for young and old alike. On hot days, you can cool off in the ZwemPlas, where you can swim in natural water, play on the beach and whizz down the slide into the water. In the Blobmeer, you can go blobbing or be blobbed. Or try tube rafting: hurtling across the water in a tube behind a speedboat.
Even when the weather isn’t at its best, there’s plenty of water fun to be had. TerSpegelt has an indoor swimming pool with a slide, a paddling pool and a whirlpool. There’s also the SterrenStrand: an indoor water and sand play paradise where children can splash about, clamber and play.
Please note: during Dutch and German public holidays and school holidays, a limited number of tickets are available.

Fishing
A popular fishing spot is ’t Biesven in Duizel, home to the De Gender Angling Club. This spacious fishing pond, covering approximately 3.8 hectares, features various fishing spots, a clubhouse and car park. You can also go fishing at the Parkvijver in Eersel. This smaller pond, set in the heart of a green park, is home to whitefish and smaller carp, amongst other species.
In addition, Recreatiepark TerSpegelt and Eurocamping Vessem offer opportunities for fishing. These fishing spots are primarily intended for overnight guests, but please feel free to enquire about the options for a day ticket. These lakes are home to various species of fish (mainly roach, tench and perch), so bring your fishing tackle and enjoy a good catch.
Most of the fishing waters in the municipality are managed by the de Gender Angling Association.
Membership: To fish on a regular basis, you’ll need the VISpas, which automatically makes you a member of the association.
Day permits: If you’d like to go fishing occasionally, day permits in Eersel are available from:
