Hiking & Cycling
Eersel is a walking and cycling paradise on the Belgian border (just below Eindhoven) and winner of the title "Walking Municipality of the Year" in 2014. We owe this title to the hundreds of kilometres of walking and cycling paths, the app-walking routes, the good facilities, and the cosy terraces where one can finish the route while enjoying a Kempisch Kwartierke or a tasty appetiser.

Burgundian pleasures on the Markt
What could be nicer than enjoying Brabant's cosiness on a terrace? In Eersel, in the heart of the Kempen region, you can do just that! As soon as the sun shows its face, the Markt is buzzing with life, with no fewer than 1,000 terrace seats during the summer months. Here you will not only taste the atmosphere, but also the delicious regional specialities offered by many restaurants. Do you prefer the peace and quiet? Many restaurants on the Markt in Eersel have beautiful, hidden courtyards. Here you can dine in peace while the children play outside. Highly recommended for a relaxing evening out!
