We owe this title to the hundreds of kilometres of walking and cycling paths, the app-walking routes, the good facilities, and the cosy terraces where one can finish the route while enjoying a Kempisch Kwartierke or a tasty appetiser.

From cosy Eersel, you can easily reach the beautiful Cartierheide nature reserve, a jewel in De Kempen. You will find winding sandy paths that take you past vast heathlands, fens and varied forests. Various walking and cycling routes invite you to wander for hours through this almost fairytale-like area. Cartierheide is a perfect base for those who want to explore the Brabant countryside from Eersel.
