Art walk route 29 August to 20 September

LandArt Duizel is a beautiful art walking route that will be open from Saturday 29 August until Sunday 20 September 2026. All kinds of activities will be organised around the route, including a photo challenge, an educational programme for schools, a lecture, guided tours and more. Twenty artists are participating in the route, each shaping the theme 'Duizel 1001' in their own way. As Duizel celebrated its 1000th anniversary last year, their work allows visitors to experience nature and the landscape in a different way. They take something away or add something, surprising you and making you see the surroundings differently.

Take part in the Photo Challenge

In the months of May-June, a special plant grows and blooms in the Kleine Beerze near Duizel. A sea of flowers of the white water trumpet transforms the stream valley of the springing Kleine Beerze in Duizel into an idyllic, fairy-like landscape, which captures the imagination...

Take part in the Photo Challenge and submit a photo by 1 July at the latest. With these photos, we will create a nice exhibition to enrich the route.

Walk the LandArt route

The route is just under 3 kilometres, and starts at Donk 4 in Duizel. There is a small parking area here. Routes are also available in print, so you can walk the route from here.

The stream valley of the Kleine Beerze in Duizel consists of several very different pieces of nature, including a scrub forest, a field and a meandering stream. The walking route mapped out by the Werkgroep Kunstwandelroute Duizel through this area is like a journey through the area. The art you encounter along the way gives substance to the journey, makes you look closely, think, smile and gives you a new story!
