The farmstead, with its status as a national monument, breathes history. Stroll around the yard and admire the characteristic long-gabled farmhouse, a typical Brabant structure where house, stable and barn were brought under one roof. Discover the stories behind the historical outbuildings and imagine how farm life took place here for centuries. Although the original 'Flemish barn' was unfortunately destroyed by fire, its rich history remains tangible in every stone and wooden beam.

But above all, de Jacobushoeve is a vibrant meeting place. Brother Fons van der Laan's idea, born during a pilgrimage to Santiago, lives on here. The farmstead is the perfect place to 'socialise', a typical Kempen word for getting together and catching up. Whether you are looking for a chat, meaningful activity or just a delicious cup of coffee, you will always find a warm welcome here.
