On a one-hectare plot, schoolchildren and other volunteers planted some 1,250 trees and shrubs. A vegetable garden, lawn and bird field are embraced by the food forest. Besides fruit trees, there are hazels and sweet chestnuts in the food forest. Several hundred berry bushes also bear fruit. To minimise soil desiccation, a grass/herb mixture has been sown.

On the edge of the bird field is a metre-high falcon box. The field is sown with a specific mixture for bird fields. This includes cereals, bee plants, fodder radish and poppies. In the winter months, birds can find food here.
