Master ice cream maker Hans not only holds the highest degree of professional competence in ice cream making in the Netherlands ("SVH"), but also teaches as Maestro at the Gelato University in Bologna. And of these Maestros, there are only 21 in the whole world! Hans is fortunately largely in the heart of Eersel, where, on the historic market square, he puts his love of the trade into every ice cream ball. With its Lemon Almond Crunchy flavour, De Smaak won a silver medal at the Gelato Festival Challenge by ice cream maker Carpigiani. Besides crafting ice cream and ice cream products, Hans is also a master pastry chef. The Taste! therefore not only makes delicious ice cream, but also great chocolate.
