Koetje Kaat
Creative and enthusiastic Tonny Houbraken runs a dairy farm in Bergeijk together with her partner Ad Houbraken. As the farm is in the middle of a recreational area and a lot of tourists and day trippers pass by on walks and bike rides, the couple saw opportunities for a side activity. They wanted to do something with the pasture milk from their own cows. As there were already more than enough cheese dairies and farm shops in the area, Tonny suggested starting an ice cream factory. This combined with tours of the farm. Tonny: "After all, we really see it as our task to inform 'the people from the city' about life on the farm.
