This walk takes you through the peaceful countryside around Vessem, where you’ll pass the oldest farm in North Brabant: the hall farm on the Maaskant. This characteristic 14th-century farm offers a special insight into farming life of the past and shows just how long this place has been inhabited.
Fun fact: The hall farm at Maaskant 5 is over 600 years old and is one of the oldest surviving farms in North Brabant.
This walk also takes you past the characteristic Jacobusmolen and through the peaceful countryside around Vessem. You’ll walk alongside the meandering Kleine Beerze, where nature and open countryside come together, allowing you to unwind completely.
