This combi route is located in the Kempense bossen, a beautiful forest area on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium. The area consists of forest, heathland and meandering streams.
An area also with a rich history. Napoleon left his mark on the Cartierheide. The woods were the grounds of smugglers, and hawkers walked along the sandy paths with their merchandise in baskets on their backs. The landscape here is full of stories.

The Kempen Route is a combination of four Brabant routes. In total, a distance of 100+ kilometres has to be covered, making this route a MTB challenge.
The route is an alternation of singletracks and wide forest paths.
As indicated, the route is fully signposted as it consists of several permanent routes. However, it is useful to also carry the route on GPS to avoid confusion.
