MTB route Bladel

The route has a length of 33.8 kilometres, the direction of travel is anti-clockwise (CCW), marked with posts with the international MTB sign (triangle with 2 circles underneath) in green, the difficulty level of this route is blue = medium.

The 39-kilometre Pals route is located south of Bladel and west of Eersel (near Eindhoven). The route runs through several forest areas including the Cartierheide and Hapertse Heide. Here there are still remains of urn fields and settlement remains from the Stone Age and Iron Age. The ground vegetation consists mainly of various types of lichens and herbs. About 24 bird species breed in the area, including rare birds such as curlew, stonechat, yellowhammer and tree pipit. Amphibians and reptiles live mainly on the heathlands. In addition, a range of mammals have a permanent home here. The Pals route consists of 2 loops that can be ridden separately but also as one big round. The northern loop has a length of 16 kilometres. This loop contains little technical challenge and mostly follows somewhat wider forest paths. The southern loop, with a length of 18 kilometres, is much more attractive. The route consists almost entirely of singletracks, roots, sharp turns and tricky passages. Here too, the scenery is beautiful and the forests are full of wildlife.
Four fixed mountain bike routes have been set out in the Kempen forests. These routes can be linked together, creating a network of over 120 km. The other routes are those in Eersel, Luyksgestel and Reusel.
