Ice master
As ice warden, you are responsible for the optimal quality of the ice and conditions on the ice rink.Keeping the ice at the optimal temperature.
Interim maintenance of the ice rink.
After closing the rink, getting everything ready for the next day.
You may attend a workshop for this and you will gain a lot of ice rink knowledge and an ice master certifcate.

Supervisor
As a supervisor, you will keep control at the ice rink and check control bands. You will do this by:
Access control of the control bands;
Checking the ice rink.
Ensuring that participants enter and leave the ice rink on time.
Keeping an eye on the behaviour of people on the rink (order and safety).
Supporting skate rental when it is busy.

Cashier
As an employee cashier, you will take care of selling and checking entrance tickets. You do this by:
Giving a warm welcome at the box office
Selling entrance tickets when they are not yet in your possession.
Renting skates to participants who do not have their own.
Using a cash register system.
Scanning the entry tickets and providing the participant with a control tape, which allows the participant access to the rink for a certain time.
Keeping everything around box office and skate rental looking tidy.

Employee skate rental
As a skate rental employee, you will take care of checking entrance tickets, renting, issuing and collecting skates, racks and Bobby's. You will also keep this orderly by:
Managing the materials, checking, signalling if skates are out of order and making them dry after use.
Checking entrance tickets.
Keeping everything around cash register and skate rental looking tidy.

Ice bar employee
As an Ice bar employee, you will take care of the sale and distribution of drinks and snacks at the ice rink.
We work with a cash register system.
You will sell coffee, tea, chocolate milk, biscuits and sweets.
You make sure the Ice bar looks neat and tidy.

Hospitality employee
As a hospitality employee, you will take care of selling and dispensing drinks and snacks in the après-ski bar. The tasks are as follows:
You will ensure the sale of hot drinks, beer, wine, juices and soft drinks, among others.
You will prepare and sell various snacks and refreshments.
You will keep the tables and bar in the après-ski bar tidy and clean.
You make use of the cash register system, without using cash.
A floor manager is always present for help and instructions.

Volunteer assembly and disassembly
During the set-up and take-down of our event, things need to be set up, carpentry needs to be done, things need to be put in the right place.

Rating
As a volunteer at Winter Village Eersel, you decide which shifts you fill in via an online schedule. Not a lot of time? No problem. Every completed shift is appreciated! Together, you will make Winter Village Eersel an unforgettable time, for the visitors but also for yourself.

Volunteer meltfest
After hard work, it is also time for relaxation. The last evening of Winter Village Eersel, Sunday 5 January, is for the volunteers! A cosy evening with music, drinks and snacks.
