Starting point: Jacobushoeve

Via Kerkepaadje and Torenpad

Lambertuskerk and surroundings

A neo-Gothic national monument from 1882.

• Farm print at car park D'n Boogerd: An imprint of a former farmhouse that once stood here is still visible on the square - a tangible reminder of its agricultural past.

• Excavation of a bell mould: A mould used for casting church bells was once excavated on the church square. A unique archaeological find that recalls the old crafts.

• Monument De Naald at car park D'n Boogerd: This modest but significant monument commemorates the sacrifices and resilience of the village during the war years.

• De Pastorie (Servatiusstraat 9): Next to the church is the old presbytery from 1849, once the home of generations of parish priests and a hub of village life.

Village centre: Brewery, village pump and old town hall

• Pelgrimsherberg Kafarnaüm (Servatiusstraat 11): Long-gabled farmhouse from 1913 offers hospitable accommodation to pilgrims on the major paths to Santiago and Rome, as well as regional pilgrim paths.

• The old brewery (Jan Smuldersstraat 24a): a reminder of the rich beer culture in the Kempen region.

• The village pump (square in front of the brewery), once the main water supply, is a symbol of community life in the past.

• The former town hall (Jan Smuldersstraat 15), this white building is the former town hall.shows how Vessem once had its own administration - small but independent.

Via Kuilenhurk, Molenberg

Jacobusmolen: 

Penultimate stop is the imposing Jacobusmolen (Wilhelminalaan 18)- a stone bell mill from 1893. This mill was in use for grinding grain for centuries and is a symbol of the village's artisanal strength. The mill is named after Saint James, as is the farmstead.

End point: Jacobushoeve
