Accessible route Eersel

Discover the most beautiful spots of the Kempen village of Eersel via this accessible diversions. The route is about 4 kilometres long. You follow a well-walked footpath, which is perfectly accessible for people with disabilities (including the visually impaired and wheelchair and walker users). This route is also recommended if you want to take a stroll with your child in a buggy or pram.

Historic core
Get to know the historic core of Eersel with its charming cobblestones and lime trees. You will find a beautiful old village pump, kiosk, many monuments, the Protestant church and the Mariakapel. The many terraces and restaurants invite you to enjoy the idyllic centre. You will experience typical Kempen hospitality and a burgundian welcome.

The route takes you to some green gems such as Quackelbos (play forest) and Wethouder Poeliejoepark. You will also pass Kempenmuseum De Acht Zaligheden. The museum tells the story of Kempen farm life as it was between 1850 and 1950. Behind the building are a herb garden, orchard, vegetable garden and flower garden, and there are many old folk games.
