Discover the rich history of Eersel's church villages with the Open Monuments Cycle Route!
Get on your bike - or take your car - and explore a beautiful route of about 33 kilometres, based on the cycle junction network. You can start at any point and easily adjust the route as you see fit. Perfect for a relaxing day out!

Along the way, you will pass a special selection of the more than 120 monuments in the municipality of Eersel. Think churches, chapels, parsonages and atmospheric village centres, but also surprising places such as the Omroepsteen in Eersel. Each building tells its own story and brings the region's rich history to life.

In each church village, you will also find a catering establishment where you can pause with a cup of coffee, a tasty lunch or something sweet. Above all, take the time to stop off along the way and take a look inside the monuments during the Open Monuments Weekend!
